Work will be on 4,700 linar feet of the bike trail to include new asphalt surface, tail shoulder restoration to include topsoil, grass seed, mulch, ADA crossings, new signage, removal of existing bollards, minor drainage improvements Other items listed in the plans and proposal book attached. There are MBE goals of 4% and WBE goals of 5% for this project. The proposed project is located in the City of Cohoes. The City is reconstructing approximately 4,700 linear feet of the Empire State Trail (EST) to mitigate the deteriorated surface along with performing additional ancillary work to improve this section of trail up to the standards of the Empire State Trail, also known as the Delaware Ave Bike-Hike Trail.
