Proposers must adhere to and be in compliance with Florida Statutes, Chapter 471, entitled "Engineering". Pursuant to Florida Statute FS 287.055 (CCNA), this contract will be used for miscellaneous Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing not covered within the scope of a defined project and on an as needed basis. Geotechnical Engineering Services includes, but is not limited to, subsurface investigation, soil and rock mechanics, foundation engineering, earth retaining structures, ground improvement, slope stability and erosion control, permitting assistance, and reporting. Construction Materials Testing includes, but is not limited to, soil and foundation testing, concrete testing, structural steel and masonry inspection, asphalt and paving testing, non-destructive testing (NDT), environmental testing, and special inspections to ensure that materials and construction methods used in construction meet project specifications.
