Scope of Services: Fire Road/Fire Break Disking. Questions concerning Fire Road/Fire Break Disking should be directed on CCWD’s PlanetBids website in Q & A section and must be received by 4:00 p.m. (PST). April 20, 2026. Responses to all questions received by the due date will be published on PlanetBids and CCWD will issue an Addendum to the ITB on Monday, April 27, 2026. Task 1 Fire TrailRoad Grading Scope of Work: The scope of work is for the grading offire trailroads within the Los Vaqueros Watershed (LVW)/Los Vaqueros Mitigation Properties (LVMP) for the purpose of providing fire breaks. District has approval to grading up to 40 miles per year. The approximate fire trail road’s width is 12 feet. The fire trail road grading will remove flammable vegetation from the fire trail surface, remove ruts and, to the extent possible, out-slope the road (2 to 6 % as directed in the field) to minimize future erosion. Task 2 AllWeather Road Grading Scope of Work: The scope of work is for the grading of the all-weather gravel roads at LVW each year. The grading will remove ruts and, to the extent possible, out-slope the road (2 to 6 % as directed in the field) to minimize future erosion. At some locations base rock will be add to the all-weather road. Base rock will be supplied by the District. Task3 FireBreakDisking Scope of Work: The scope of work is to provide the disking of firebreaks within LVW/LVMP. The width of the fire break is,but notlimited to,12feet.Bidsmustinclude mobilizationanddemobilizationfees. Equipment: A mid-size track-layered tractor with a minimum of 160 horsepower, the disk must have hydraulically operated wheels and minimum width of 8 feet and the maximum width of 12 feet. A minimal blade size of 32-inch diameter is required. The contractor must provide an approved method for crossing paved roads without causingdamage to the asphalt. Task4 Water Hauling Scope of Work: The scope of work is to provide water hauling services to LVW/LVMP locations as needed. The water hauling operator shall obtain water from the designated hydrants and reservoir sites determined by CCWD staff. The water hauler shall fill the designated ponds, irrigation and irewater tanks and provide dust control for construction and road maintenance work if neededV
