Renovation of a transportation facility in Sioux City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 231,900-square-foot, seven-story above grade transportation facility.
The project includes the modernization of the two existing elevators at 509 Nebraska Street, incorporating code and performance upgrades. One elevator is to remain open at all times. Interested contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to bidding. All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum). A public hearing will be held before the Sioux City, City Council in the Council Chambers, Room 504, City Hall, 405 Sixth Street, Sioux City, Iowa, on May 4, 2026 commencing at 4:00 P.M Award is subject to final approval.
