As of June 11, 2026, this project is in the conceptual phase. A design firm has not been selected yet. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* The project consists of the redesign and redevelopment of an existing elementary school and middle school with approximately 1400 permanent student stations. It includes the construction of new classroom buildings, core facilities such as media, food service, support spaces, and renovation of existing buildings to remain. Site redesign will cover demolition work, playgrounds, parking, parent and bus drives, and stormwater retention if applicable. The scope may be adjusted to include changing capacity and core facilities. Design professionals are expected to evaluate the condition and needs of existing HVAC systems and utility infrastructure. Environmental site rehabilitation and coordination with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection are also required. Firms located in the State of Florida wishing to be considered must submit eight copies of the following: a letter of interest for the project, Standard Form 330 (GSA), other firm information for review including current workload, proof of professional liability insurance, and a copy of applicable Florida professional registrations (including consultants). All submittals should be sent as specified. The School Board may reject all applicants, may stop the selection process at any time, may reject all submittals, and reserves the right to waive any informalities in the selection process.
