In accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 2269 Subchapter D, Competitive Sealed Proposal Method, and applicable Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) rules and procedures, proposals are solicited for prime construction services for the Department of Public Safety's Florence Tactical Training Center K-9 Kennel, Project 22-016-2540. The estimated construction budget is $2,820,000. Required work includes providing all materials, equipment, labor, coordination, and supervisory activities necessary to complete construction of the project as described in the Project Manual and Project Drawings, including specifications and contract documents. All respondents seeking access to the project drawings must complete Attachment H - Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement and submit it to the designated Purchaser. Bidders are required to have an employee attend at least one of the mandatory pre-submittal teleconferences. Qualifications from firms that do not attend one of these mandatory pre-submittal conferences will be rejected. An optional site visit will also be available. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, site work, site clean-up, temporary fencing, special flooring, custom casework and cabinets, scaffolding, metal and structural work, roofing and siding, carpentry, concrete, electrical, welding, hauling, and related building and construction services as detailed in the provided class/item schedule.
