The works include the demolition and removal of the existing boilers and associated equipment, the supply and installation of new boilers, as well as the adaptation and upgrading of the plumbing and heating systems. The works also include the electrical work required to connect the new equipment, the integration of the new boilers into the existing control system, as well as testing, balancing, commissioning and training of maintenance staff. The works will be carried out in an occupied environment, which will require rigorous planning to minimise disruption to campus activities. In particular, the contractor will be required to coordinate service interruptions. An optional site visit is scheduled for 27 April 2026 at 8:00 am.
