Renovation of an office development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.
The work consists of the renovation of the Jessie Parker South office area located at the Jessie Parker Building, 510 E 12th Street, Des Moines, IA, 50319. Bids must be submitted on the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System accompanied by a bid security amounting to 5% of the total bid. Acceptable forms of bid security include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check drawn from a solvent bank chartered under U.S. law. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities, accepting the bid deemed in the State's best interest. Bidders must comply with all affirmative action and equal employment opportunity provisions of the State of Iowa and the Federal Government. The project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages do not apply. Bidding documents may specify products, but substitute products will be considered if a written request is submitted by the deadline in accordance with substitution procedures. Attendance at the Pre-Bid meeting is optional but highly recommended. Questions must be submitted by 2:00 PM, April 24, 2026, to the Issuing Officer.
