The Texas Military Department is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of an Aaon Roof Top Unit (RTU) at the Grand Prairie National Guard Readiness Center in Grand Prairie, Texas. 4/30/2026 2:00 PM Last day to submit written questions for clarification to TMD All communications and questions concerning this solicitation, including any of a technical nature, will be made in writing only to: Brent Morgan, CTCD, CTCM, Contract Administrator TMD Procurement and Contract Services Email: Procurement@military.texas.gov PECIFICATIONS AND STATEMENT OF WORK A. Work Hours a. 7:00am through 5:00pm US Central Time b. Monday through Friday c. Contractor may work beyond these hours including holidays and weekends if coordinated with the Contract Monitor (See Section C.4.2) and approved in writing. B. Contractor Responsibilities a. Contractor shall provide a factory authorized representative to provide installation services. b. Contractor shall be responsible for the following for successful and safe completion of this project: i. All labor ii. All materials iii. All tools iv. Any roll off dumpsters (if/as needed) v. All related heavy equipment (crane, other equipment) vi. All related permits and licensing c. All safety requirements must meet City, State, and Federal Standards i. These standards shall include Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and requirements. d. Contractor shall provide a Job Site supervisor to coordinate daily activities with the Contract Monitor (See Section C.4.2). e. Contractor shall ensure a clean and safe job site on each workday. f. Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of all trash and debris generated by this project daily and at the end of the project. i. Trash and debris shall be removed properly per any applicable city, state, and federal requirements. g. Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of all tools, dumpsters, andequipment within 72 hours after completion of the project. C. Contractor Removal Procedures a. Existing Equipment i. Brand: AAON ii. Model 62363 iii. Serial #: 2005AMGN18254 b. Contractor shall isolate and disconnect the following from the existing AAON RTU: i. All electrical connections 1. Contractor shall confirm that electrical power is turned off to the equipment. 2. Contractor shall lockout and tag out all electrical lines per OSHA requirements.
