Sealed Bids, in duplicate, addressed to Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 73, Attention: Ms. Linda Dixon, President, Board of Directors, will be received at the office of the Engineer, LJA Engineering, Inc., 1904 West Grand Parkway North, Suite 120, Katy, Texas 77449, until 10:00 a.m. Local Time, Wednesday, April 29, 2026, and then publicly opened and read for “Construction of the Water, Sanitary Sewer, and Drainage Facilities & Paving and Appurtenances to Serve Samara Section 19 for Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 73, Galveston County, Texas”. Bidders may elect to submit bids electronically via https://bids.lja.com. Bidders must register and obtain bidding documents on this website for the required payment amount (if any) to submit an electronic bid. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier’s check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board’s judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
