The work involves the replacement installation of a fuel pump station at the City of Webster Groves Service Center. The scope includes complete removal of the old structural fuel station structures, disconnection of all utilities, and site restoration. The contractor is to upgrade diesel and unleaded dispensers and the fuel management unit (PV200 or approved equal), ensuring the new dispenser has dual 14' hoses with retractors, utilizes city employee cards, and existing electrical. All old equipment must be removed and properly disposed of. Specific tasks include installation of dielectric unions, adjustment and testing of impact shear valves, installation of new shear valve brackets, and possible reuse of existing wiring. The project also requires the removal of the existing Gilbarco ATG system and installation of a new EVO ONE ATG system (or approved equal), replacing both diesel and unleaded probes, and reuse of console/probe wiring if possible. Additionally, a DEF Blue One cold climate dispensing cube tank (or approved equal) must be provided and set up, with details such as internal heating, double walled containment, pre-wired electrical components, and other specified features. The selected contractor will also be responsible for the removal and disposal of all old equipment, including fuel pumps, vacuum station, terminal keypad, and concrete base island, as well as site debris. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and submit a letter of intent detailing qualifications and experience, a cost proposal, a project timeline, three references from similar projects, and proof of insurance.
