Description

Site work and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in Jamestown, New York. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 57,700-square-foot fitness / recreation center.

The Jamestown Area YMCA and Jamestown Community College are seeking firms to submit qualifications for architectural and related engineering services in the development of a new wellness center known as The JAY Wellness Center. Requirements are provided for written submission, as well as for an oral presentation and interview with YMCA and JCC leadership, if invited. All qualified applicants, including Minority-Owned Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, are encouraged to participate. The proposer must be an Equal Opportunity Employer. Costs incurred for proposal preparation and submittal, as well as any travel or per diem, will not be reimbursed. Turf fields (soccer, baseball, softball) is anticipated to start construction in the third/fourth quarter of 2026 The Jay Wellness Center is anticipated to start construction in the second quarter of 2027.
