The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking quotes for a new grit washer system to separate and remove sand and grit from wastewater treatment plants. The system must be fully operational in both manual and automatic modes. Specifications include: influent municipal waste, application peak flow 152,640 GPD, 6" inlet flange, 8" outlet flange, 25° screw incline, shaftless screw type, 9" screw diameter, 13’2" screw length, 9.5" trough diameter, U trough type, bolted inspection covers, 1/3” stainless steel liner bars, stainless steel 304L shaft, paddles, and body, and a ½ hp, 460v, 3 phase 60 Hz C1D2 drive. The control panel must operate the grit classifier, auger, and all ancillary equipment, be a stainless-steel enclosure, and contain all necessary electrical controls, wiring, starters, terminals, relays, overloads, fuses, and labels. System requirements include complete panel assembly, wiring, and testing, an inner swing panel for HMI, pilots, and disconnect, non-fused disconnect switch with thru-door handle, motor starters with fusing and overloads, control transformer with fusing, terminal blocks and accessories, electronic over current relays, elapsed time meter, control relays, local Class 1 Div 2 E-Stop switch, UL 508 rated enclosure suitable for wall mounting, and dry contact outputs for run, general fault, and overcurrent. A push button E-stop must be provided and installed adjacent to the grit system. Start-up services and training must include full documented QC with photos, a detailed video specific to this application showing equipment and controls functions and operation, and full startup and training on site for 1-2 days. Warranty must be 12 months or 18 months from delivery, whichever comes first. Bidders should submit their spec sheet along with the completed RFQ. CR#: 2133974
