Site work for a mixed-use development in Norman, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and military facility.

Sealed bids, in the form of Online Bidding only, will be received by the Capital Assets Management, Construction and Properties (CAP) for the Norman AFRC Sewer Line Replacement located at Norman AFRC, 4000 Thunderbird Street, Norman, OK 73069, for the Oklahoma Military Department. Copies of the plans and bid documents may be obtained from the CAP's Online Plan Room accessed from BidExpress. Instructions to bidders are provided in the Project Manual. If the bid exceeds $100,000, a cashier's check, a certified check or surety bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany the sealed bid of each bidder. Security checks will be returned to all but the three lowest bidders after the bid opening. The three lowest bid securities will be retained until the contract is awarded. Estimated cost $120,000.00 The removal, disposal and/or possible storage (for re-install) of any existing finishings in the work area in order to sawcut the floor to replace the bad section of sewer line. o The protection of any surfaces or areas not in tie work area. o The removal and reinstallation of some modular/cubicle office walls o The Contractor will do their best as to not disturb the tenants. OMD will ensure that the immediate work area is off limits to building tenants. o The removal of the existing carpet tiles and the reinstallation of the carpet tiles. o The removal of the existing trim, cove-base and transitions and installation of new trim that matches the existing. All cove base and transitions will be rubber. o The Contractor will repair any surfaces to include, but not limited to paint, flooring damaged during the project by the Contractor or any sub-contractors or employees of the Contractor. o The Contractor will camera/scope the sewer line to show that the sewer line flows properly and is in good working order. The contractor will provide a video copy to OMD. o The Oklahoma Military Department will require a minimum of three (3) inspections during this project. One after demo, prior to sewer line removal, one during installation, and one when new section is installed before the area/liie Is backfilled. o The contractor will install a two way clean out at the end of the sewer line(s) where it ties back into the existing sewer line. o The Contractor will reinstall any and all finish materials such as carpet, cove base, paint, walls after the concrete subfloor is reinstalled.
