This project involves pavement repair work on Woodward Ave/M-1 between Davison/M-8 and McNichols; and on Gratiot Ave/M-3 between St. Aubin and Mack in the City of Detroit, Wayne County. The required work includes HMA and concrete work such as milling, removal of existing concrete overlay, concrete hand patching, curb and gutter, drainage structure adjustments and cleaning, pavement marking, providing traffic control, and other defined work. Bidders are instructed to read all provided RFP materials before preparing their proposals and must follow the provided proposal instructions. All responses must be complete and submitted by the deadline. References to websites or external sources cannot be used in place of directly providing the requested information within the proposal. The company's name should be included in the header of submitted documents. All proposal materials will become public record upon receipt and may be posted on the State’s website after notification of the award recommendation. Proposals, attachments, and any modifications or withdrawals must be submitted electronically, with the price proposal saved separately from all other documents. Proposals must be fully uploaded and submitted prior to the deadline. Responsibility for a complete and timely submission lies with the bidder. Only bidders meeting the mandatory minimum requirements listed in the RFP will be considered for evaluation. These include being currently listed as a prequalified contractor in specified MDOT categories or indicating a qualified subcontractor for any unmet category.
