The Province is requesting the submission of proposals for outhouse vault cleaning services for multiple outhouses along the David Thompson Corridor (DTC), Cow Lake, and Strubel Lake. The sites include locations such as the Nordegg Ranger Station Parking Lot, Colliseum Staging Area, Bighorn Dam, Allstones Staging and Camping Areas, Hoodoo Creek East and West Staging Areas, Ahbraham Slabs Staging Area, Whitegoat/Coral Creek Staging Area, Pinto Lake Staging Area, Preachers Point Random Camping Areas, Kinglette Lake, Wildhorse East and West, Owen Creek, Thompson Creek Staging Area, Taunton Parking Area, Chambers Creek Staging Area, Landslide Lake Interpretive Trail, Cline Landing, Cow Lake, and Strubel Lake. The services consist of furnishing all labour, supplies, and equipment required to clean the outhouse vaults, with the cleaning generally performed in the fall, but additional cleanings may be requested and must be started or completed within 48 hours of notice from the Contract Manager. Cleaning products and washroom supplies must be environmentally friendly and approved by the Province. All other necessary supplies will be provided by the contractor.
