The New York State Department of Transportation is assisting Popli Design Group in the selection and retention of Subcontractors to provide Work Zone Traffic Control for Consultant and State Inspection Teams throughout NYSDOT Region 3 under Contract No. D042086 PIN 3B26.02. The selected Subcontractors will be required to provide all labor, materials, machinery, tools, and equipment for Work Zone Traffic Control for Biennial and Interim Bridge Inspections located throughout all counties of NYSDOT Region 3. The subcontractor must be able to staff up to three simultaneous traffic control teams, each with well-maintained equipment, an approved Foreman, and trained traffic control technicians or flagging personnel. Work is to be performed in accordance with the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, NYSDOT standards, and project specifications. Subcontractors must have a minimum of five years documented experience in traffic control. All foremen must be certified as Traffic Control Supervisors (ATSSA or approved equal), and laborers must be certified as Traffic Control Technicians (ATSSA or approved equal) and trained in flagging operations. The project duration is anticipated from May 2026 to May 31, 2028, with most work occurring from May through December. Multiple crews may be required to work simultaneously, including full, partial day, nighttime, and limited weekend operations. Insurance requirements, as specified in the Bid Documents, include Bodily Injury Liability, Property Damage Liability, Automobile and Truck Insurance, and Workmen’s Compensation Insurance. Permits necessary to perform work will be procured by PDG. Interested parties may obtain a Bid Package by contacting Popli Design Group. Proposals must be prepared in conformance with the Bid Documents and delivered in a sealed envelope labeled with the required information by the stated deadline. PDG reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and disregard nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. Contact with any NYSDOT or Popli Design Group employee other than the designated contact may result in disqualification.
