The project generally consists of the following: temporary signage, protection, and traffic control; temporary erosion and sediment control; new waterline construction including vaults, valves, and other appurtenances; waterline abandonment; surface restoration; and performance of additional and incidental work as called for by the specifications and plans. All items identified on the Bid Schedule are to be incorporated as the basis of bid award. All bidders must submit a bid security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of their bid. Bidders must also submit a First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form by the specified deadline. Proof of a filed public works bond with a corporate surety in the amount of $30,000 with the Construction Contractors Board is required before beginning any work. No bid will be considered unless fully completed as provided in the bid packet. Facsimile bids will not be accepted, and late bids will be returned unopened. Bid documents may be downloaded from the City of Tigard website. The City may reject any bid not in compliance with public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject any or all bids for good cause if it is in the public interest to do so.
