Site work for a water / sewer project in Papillion, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, materials, use of contractor's equipment, plant, and all else necessary to properly construct the improvements generally designated, BELLINO SEVENTY TWO INTERIOR WATER. The work consists of constructing or effectuating the following estimated quantities and related preparatory and subsidiary work: Mobilization (1 L.S.), Traffic Control (1 L.S.), construction of 10" and 6" D.I.P. CL 350 Water Main with Tracer Wire (4,350 L.F. and 45 L.F. respectively), installation of various valves, bends, tees, reducers, fire hydrant assemblies, plugs, and dewatering if necessary. All work must be completed in strict accordance with the prepared drawings and specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for $28,000 as evidence of good faith and as liquidated damages in the event the accepted bidder fails to enter into contract and furnish acceptable bond within ten days after Notice of Award. The bond must be for 100% of the total bid price. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for thirty days after bid opening. Only bids from planholders listed at the engineer's office and Standard Digital Imaging will be accepted. The District reserves the right to waive formalities and to reject any or all bids.
