Site Improvement Activities involve all work incidental to the construction of improvements to Revloc Park and Hap Road, Village of Revloc in the Township of Cambria, to include, but not be limited to the following site improvement activities: removal of existing asphalt pavement, 1,700 S.Y. of stone subbase, 2,565 S.Y. of subbase leveling, 540 Ton of asphalt wearing course, 410 Ton of asphalt base course, one Type M Inlet, 50 L.F. of 12" SLCPP, 145 S.Y. of pavement milling, 150 L.F. of bituminous joint sawing / sealing, ADA items such as signage, pavement markings and concrete wheel stops, seeding and mulching, erosion and sedimentation control, gravel driveway restoration, site restoration and cleanup, quality control and related activities. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Cambria, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, at par value, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid for Site Improvements, must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance, and Labor and Materialmen's Bonds before the awarding of the Contract. Prevailing wages established under the Davis-Bacon Act will apply to this contract. The contract documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Cambria reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to readvertise or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Cambria for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
