Renovation of an industrial development in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.
Electronic proposals are requested for the BPTS Pitt Wall and Tipping Floor project. Proposals must be submitted through Hennepin County's online electronic bid system until noon on the specified due date, at which time they will be opened by the Hennepin County Purchasing & Contract Services Office. There are special instructions indicating a virtual pre-proposal conference and an optional walkthrough at the project site. Full sets of the Request for Proposal (RFP) documents are available for review at specified locations and may be obtained from ARC Document Solutions. Attendance at the site tour and pre-proposal conference is optional for all proposers. Clarification Deadline 5/5/2026 4:00 PM PROJECT DESCRIPTION / OWNER INTENT The Brooklyn Park Transfer Station, located at 8100 N Jefferson Highway in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, was constructed in 1989. This Project consists of modifying three areas of the facility: (1) In the maneuvering area, replace the concrete floor. Floor replacement includes demolition of the existing concrete floor and installation of new concrete floor with floor drain replacement. (2) The curb at the top of the storage pit wall is to be replaced. Curb replacement includes demolition of the existing concrete curb and installation of new concrete curb with a protective steel plate over the curb. (3) The storage pit concrete wall below the new curb isto be repaired. Wall repairsinclude removal of asphalt base, removal of loose concrete and rebar materials, and installation of new concrete wall with associated embeds and rebar material. If a Proposer believes an error appears in the RFP, it is asked to notify the persons listed below, of such error not later than the date and time indicated for receipt of written questions.
