District Wide Restroom Remodel Project Remodel existing restrooms at schools. Bidders must submit sealed bids on the form provided. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including, but not limited to, the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if awarded the contract. The successful bidder and its subcontractors must pay all workers not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and comply with registration and qualification requirements pursuant to Labor Code. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required. The District Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. The contract, if awarded, will go to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. Bidders must use specified brands of door hardware (Schlage), energy management system (Delta), and fire alarm system (Notifier) for the project as designated by the District's Board for matching purposes with other products in use on other public improvements, completed or underway. Pre-qualification requirements: To bid on this project, the Bidder is required to have been prequalified by the District through Quality Bidders at www.qualitybidders.com. General contractors and first-tier subcontractors with license classifications C-10, C-20, and C-39 must be prequalified. Bidders are required to possess a State of California Contractor License: A or B General Contractor license, which must be active and in good standing at the time of bid opening and throughout the contract term.
