Wasatch County has begun construction on a new county government building near Southfield Park in Heber Valley. The approximately 63,000-square-foot public facility will consolidate most county services into one location, including county-run DMV services, improving access for residents. The $47.5 million project is funded through a combination of county savings, development fees from growth in the Jordanelle area, and a bond expected to be repaid by future development revenues, with no associated property tax impact. As of April 21, 2026, this project is under construction.
