The project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing bridge, including excavation, concrete construction, riprap placement, erosion and sedimentation controls, backfill, paving, guide rail, and all other associated work listed herein and as indicated on the contract plans. All Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor and be prequalified in the specific PennDOT Work Class Codes that constitute at least 50% of the project. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of East Coventry Township; or a Bid Bond in favor of East Coventry Township in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price.
