Renovation of a laboratory facility in Worcester, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
Medical School Refurbish Student Lab Wing AC Units The existing AC Units AC-9 and AC-10are to receive new internal components consisting of fan wall assemblies. These components and controls shall be furnished under separate contract. This Electrical scope shall support the refurbishment of these units by providing a new Distribution Panel (to replace MCC-S-1), including feeder from existing Unit Substation S-2, and providing branch circuitry originating from the new Distribution panels to the proposed loads. The Electrical scope of work shall also include making safe existing electrical branch circuitry, disconnecting means, and VFD's which power the existing units (prior to refurbishment) The applicable minority workforce utilization percentage, if any, is 15.3% The applicable women workforce utilization percentage, if any, is 6.9%. Veteran BE- 1% Question Deadline 04/23/2026 Bidders shall promptly notify the UMASS CHAN MEDICAL SCHOOL of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error which they may discover upon examination of the Contract Documents, the site, and local conditions. Such notification must be received by the UMASS CHAN MEDICAL SCHOOL at least five (5) business days before the date bids are due in order to provide sufficient time for the UMASS CHAN MEDICAL SCHOOL to review the notification and respond before the date bids are due if the UMASS CHAN MEDICAL
