The City of LaBelle seeks Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR) services for the LaBelle Drinking Water Improvements Project, which involves upgrades to the existing water distribution system piping, replacement of water main isolation valves and fire hydrants, installation of a new storage tank, and improvements to the Membrane Water Treatment Facility. The CMAR will join the project at approximately the 60% Design stage, collaborating with the Owner and the Design Engineer to identify and mitigate risks, increase project efficiency and sequencing, enhance constructability and cost estimating, streamline execution, and maintain adequate operations during construction while assuring quality and cost control. Respondents must differentiate this Drinking Water project from concurrent wastewater projects. Compliance is required with Section 255.20 Florida Statutes, Florida Administrative Code Chapter 62-503, the Davis Bacon Act, American Iron and Steel Act, the Build America, Buy American Act, specific federal and state requirements for public works projects, and supplementary FDEP conditions. Good faith efforts must be made to engage Minority and Women's Business Enterprises for lower-tier goods and services subcontracts.
