Renovation of a transportation facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Scope of Work shall include, but not be limited to: Provide all labor, equipment and materials to renovate the MIA TSA Breakroom including installation of a new 3 ton, roof mounted, packaged DX air conditioning unit to serve the future TSA breakroom; furnishing and installing associated supply and return ductwork, along with supply and return grills, as required for proper air distribution within the space; installing a new condensate drainage piping system connected to the rooftop unit. The condensate piping shall be routed horizontally above the roof and supported by newly installed, code-compliant rooftop pipe supports. The new AC unit shall be controlled via a wall-mounted temperature sensor located inside the breakroom. Contractor shall review all documents and scope of work provided by Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) for work to be completed. Please refer to the Plans & Specs for further description of the scope of work. At the time of Bid and pursuant to the requirements of Section 10-3 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida and Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and Contract Documents, the Bidder and all its subcontractors must hold a valid, current, and active State and/or Miami-Dade County contractor’s license consistent with the requirements of the Scope of Work. Contractors must hold a General Contractor License. Contractors must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience performing work in their specific trade, or key employees in a new firm must have had this experience with a prior firm. Contractors must be able to demonstrate that their firm or its key employees have experience performing their respective trade within the company’s noted history and submit proof of at least one year of related work. Proof of experience must be provided as part of the bid package and will be confirmed by MDAD. Should such evidence not be satisfactory to MDAD, the submission will be considered non-responsive. Qualifying proof with names and phone numbers shall be submitted in a sealed envelope at the time of bid. Bidders are required to participate in the mandatory pre-bid conference call. Failure to participate will result in the contractor/company being considered non-responsive. The conference call will be recorded. Contractors must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents for the detailed Scope of Work.
