Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves furnishing all materials (except those listed in Section 4.00 "Materials and Equipment Furnished by The Department"), labor, equipment, tools, and other facilities and services necessary for the proper execution, testing, and completion of the work required to upgrade Sewage Pump Station No. 1043. This includes, but is not limited to, site preparation, demolition work, installation of new structures, installation of mechanical and electrical equipment, and restoration of impacted areas. Site preparation may require clearing and grubbing prior to demolition and construction work. The contractor must be experienced in raw sewage pump station construction, installation of submersible pumps, medium voltage electrical power systems, and standby diesel generators, as well as cutting concrete structures in selective demolition settings and using construction methods to minimize noise, dust, and other impacts on surrounding residential neighborhoods. Bid submission must be electronic, with a hard copy sent to WASD postmarked within one business day of the bid submittal date. The original Bid Security must be delivered to WASD before the bids are opened. If multiple bids are submitted by the same company, all submitted bids will be rejected. The RFI cut-off date is five business days prior to the bid due date. Contractors must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents for detailed scope of work. Minimum construction experience requirements must be met and demonstrated with the bid submission.
