Sealed bids are invited for the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary for the HOWLAND LIBRARY INTERIOR RENOVATION/ADDITIONS PROJECT FOR THE WARREN TRUMBULL COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY. Each proposal must include the full name and address of each person or company submitting a bid and all parties interested, accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the sum of 100% of the bid amount or a certified check for 10% of the bid. Proposals must be signed in ink, as facsimile or electronic transmissions are not permitted. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site for examination, measurement, and familiarization prior to bid submission, and attendance is required for bid consideration. Bids from corporations not chartered in Ohio must include proper certifications authorizing them to work in Ohio. Proposals must include all documents listed in the bid specifications package, including a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Personal Property Delinquent Tax Affidavit. Each proposal must also include a copy of the Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy and an accompanying signed Sign-Off Sheet. The bond form must comply with ORC 153.54 to 153.57. The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities, and determines the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder as per the bidding documents. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, indicating the project name and the bidder's name and address on the outside.
