The work involves the supply of water meters as specified in the attached specifications. Bids must include all delivery charges to Bainbridge, Georgia. Bidders are required to complete all blanks on the enclosed Bid Form, and the bid must be prepared on the City of Bainbridge Bid Form and signed in ink by an official of the bidding company. All prices quoted must remain firm for 30 days from the date of the bid, and the City of Bainbridge requires a minimum of 30 days after receipt of goods to make payment. Cash discounts for early payment should be indicated in the bid proposal. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any part or all bids, waive technicalities or formalities, negotiate with the low bidder, and accept the bid deemed in its best interest. A local procurement preference of 2% applies to qualifying Decatur County businesses for applicable goods and services, excluding construction projects.
