This request for information supports market research for the Western Area Power Administration Desert Southwest Region to identify qualified vendors capable of performing generator and power system work at multiple microwave sites. The scope includes installation, start-up, and testing of Government-furnished generators manufactured by Cummins and associated transfer switches at the Christmas Tree Pass, Newman Peak, and Tower Mountain microwave sites. The effort also includes replacement of an existing power system generator at the Lolamai Point microwave site, consisting of the purchase of a replacement generator and the provision of installation services in accordance with specified Caterpillar generator and transfer switch requirements. The information collected will be used to assess vendor capabilities and inform future acquisition decisions and does not constitute a solicitation or request for proposals or quotes. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
