Site work for a transportation facility in Wessingtn Spg, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Sealed bids will be received for furnishing all equipment, labor, and materials as set forth in the specifications and performing all work incidental thereto for G.A. Apron Reconstruction at Wessington Springs Municipal Airport. The primary work for the base bid includes approximately 2,557 square yards of asphalt pavement removal (13” nominal depth), 348 square yards of asphalt transition pavement removal (4” nominal depth), 3,932 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 1,741 cubic yards of disposal of excess material, 1,491 cubic yards of subbase course (furnished), 923 cubic yards of subbase course (recycled), 3,060 square yards each of geotextile separator fabric and geogrid, 500 cubic yards of aggregate base course, 785 tons of asphalt base/surface course, emulsified asphalt prime and tack coats, pavement markings, 596 feet of 4” perforated underdrain pipe, underdrain cleanouts and fittings, one 10’ chain link cantilever roll gate (24’ length), 2,350 square yards seeding and fertilizing, 392 cubic yards topsoil (removed from stockpile), 2,350 square yards mulching, aircraft tie-downs, high flow silt fence and inlet protection, and various related construction items. Alternate Bid A entails lighting improvements, including electrical vault work, 372 feet of No. 4 AWG, 600V, THWN-2 cable installed in conduit, 186 feet No. 6 AWG, 600V (GND), THWN-2 cable installed in conduit, 131 feet trenching and backfilling or plowing for conduit, two cable markers, 131 feet non-encased electrical conduit (1 1/4-inch, Type I, Sch. 40 PVC in trench or SDR 13 HDPE plowed), 30 feet sand-encased electrical conduit (1 1/4-inch, Type I, Sch. 80 PVC in trench or SDR 13 HDPE plowed), one handhole (electrical, FRP Tier 22 rating with flared walls, 20” diameter x 24” depth including bolt down and skid-resistant cover), one light pole and fixture (including concrete footing), and various other related construction items. Bidders are responsible for all equipment, labor, and materials as detailed in the specifications.
