Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work consists, in general, of manufacturing and delivering asphalt concrete stockpiles and windrow stockpiles to various locations in Kern County. Sealed bids for construction on a highway in accordance with the plans and special provisions are to be submitted for the construction of these stockpiles at various locations in Kern County. Bids must be received by 11:00 a.m. on the specified bid due date, and may be mailed via United States Postal Service, delivered in person or by courier service to the Kern County Public Works Department, or delivered in person to the first floor meeting room of the Public Services Building shortly before the deadline. Email requests for clarification or interpretation to the Public Works Contracts Group at PWContracts@kerncounty.com. Requests must be received at least 5 business days prior to bid opening. Requests must be received before 23rd April 2026.
