Major items of work include security fencing. Bidders must provide a bid guaranty amounting to five percent of the total bid, not exceeding $50,000, in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Fayette. Bidders exceeding amounts set by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be properly licensed and display their license number on the envelope containing their proposal. Copies of the bid documents are available from the issuing office for a non-refundable fee. Bids may be retained for up to 120 days from the opening date for evaluation.
