A. Scope of construction work is shown on drawings and specified in other sections. B. Implementation / Installation 1. Experienced Project Management a. The Contractor and its representatives shall have a proven program of professional project management to ensure successful system installation. Project managers shall be experienced in managing the design, installation, and optimization of systems. Project management experience shall include system integration and training support. C. Notice: In no event is a product to be used in this project known to contain any hazardous or toxic waste or material, radioactive materials, or other contaminants, the removal of which is required or the maintenance of which is prohibited, regulated or penalized by any local, state, or federal agency, authority or governmental unit. If any product is inadvertently specified which contains such materials, it is the Contractor's, subcontractor's and supplier's obligation and duty to advise the Engineer of this fact prior to the ordering and/or installing of the product or material. The project involves the construction of a Lagoon Influent Pump Station Upgrade. Bidders must comply with all applicable Davis-Bacon Act and American Iron and Steel requirements, as the project is funded by a State Revolving Fund loan from the State of Tennessee and will include state and federal funds. Bidders are required to meet the State Revolving Fund Loan Program's Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) requirements, including contacting at least 10 qualified DBE sub-contractors, professional service providers, vendors, and/or suppliers by certified mail to solicit bids. The apparent successful bidder must submit copies of certified letters and return receipts to the Owner prior to contract award. Additional requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are specified in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be submitted with the envelope label provided in the bid documents affixed to the front of the envelope. Question Deadline 05/14/2026 at 2:00 PM CT
