Each bidder shall possess at the time this contract is awarded Class B , C8, and C32 Contractor’s licenses , pursuant to Public Contract Code Sec. 3300. The successful bidder must maintain the license throughout the duration of this contract. Bid Specifications and all contract documents in electronic format will be available on the day of the job walk. Once the lowest responsible bidder has been selected, the DISTRICT may determine to add to or deduct from the Contract any of the additive or deductive items. The District has obtained from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of work needed to execute the contract. The awarded contractor must be registered with DIR. Holiday rates shall be paid as specified in the collective bargaining agreement applicable to each particular craft, classification or type of work employed on the project.Copies of schedules of rates so determined are on file at the District’s facility office and are available to any interested party upon request. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
