Vineyard Elementary School - Campus Painting Project. All bids shall be made and presented only on the forms provided by the District and Construction Manager. Bids must be submitted on Bonfire and will be opened and read publicly via Zoom. Bidders must possess a C-33 contractor's license at the time the contract is awarded. The contractor must perform a majority of the work if the license classification is that of a specialty contractor. The project must be completed within forty-five (45) consecutive calendar days from the date in the Notice of Award. Failure to complete work within the specified time will result in liquidated damages. Additive and deductive bid alternates may be required as part of the bid. Each bidder must be a licensed contractor in accordance with California law and must be properly licensed during the bidding and contract period. Bids must strictly conform and be responsive to the Contract Documents. Each bidder must submit a list of designated subcontractors as required by law. Bidder's security of not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid is required. Successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, and insurance certificates. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage laws and provide certified payroll records. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the date for opening bids.
