Replace/rework and upgrade the existing old conventional Edwards 6604 fire alarm panel c/w existing F/A devices & wiring; with a new addressable Fire Alarm Panel c/w new addressable type devices and wiring to meet latest Code requirements. Note that only the ‘southern portion’ of the church (1989 Building Addition) currently has existing conventional old fire alarm devices. Add additional new addressable fire alarm devices & new wiring/conduit for the ‘northern portion’ of the originally built 3-level church. Currently, these areas do not have any fire alarm devices. Remove old fire bells, and Add new addressable horn/strobe notification devices & associated wiring; including additional new notification devices c/w new wiring/conduit throughout the rest of the building, all as indicated on drawings. Touch-up paint, and make good walls and/or ceiling to match existing adjacent surfaces, that might be affected by these upgrades. Provide painted EMT conduit (or painted metallic low profile wiremold) and painted outlet boxes, to match existing adjacent surfaces, where installations have no choice but to be surface mounted. Conduct Fire Alarm Verification of newly installed fire alarm system and it’s various devices, and submit Fire Alarm Verification Report to City Building Dept., and to Consultant.
