Site work and paving for a road / highway in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
It is the intention of these specifications to provide to prospective bidders the requirements for Roadway Milling Service Requirements as required by the Middlesex County Department of Transportation, Office of Public Works, Division of Highways. Milling 2" Average Depth (Asphalt, Profiling & Texturing). Work shall be limited to hours allowed by the municipality, as specified Traffic Directors, Reset Castings Rental of milling machine shall meet following specifications: Machine shall be CMI, PR-700 or equal with a minimum 6.5 ft. cut. Minimum: two (2) hour rental per day Replacing Old Sewer Castings with New County-Supplied Castings on original openings Repair or replace Type A B and E inlets with New County-Supplied Castings on original openings Furnishing and Install Tack Coat cut-back asphalt grade RC70 (only when directed by Middlesex County Public Works.) Question Deadline 04/30/2026 No oral interpretation and/or clarification of the meaning of the specifications shall be made to any bidder. Every request for an interpretation shall be in writing, addressed to the Purchasing Agent and/or the Purchasing staff member listed in the specifications. To be given consideration, written requests for interpretation shall be received at least five (5) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids.
