The Work under this Contract consists of the removal and replacement of multiple existing indoor air handling units, rooftop mechanical units, and associated appurtenant systems at Mercer High School, together with all related demolition, structural support modifications, utility extensions, system reconnections, controls integration, testing, protection, phasing, and incidental work necessary to provide a complete and fully operational installation. Spaces affected include but are not limited to the cafeteria, food service space, various classrooms, OT/PT room, administrative spaces and multiple corridors. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Selective Demolition and Equipment Replacement: Remove and legally dispose of existing indoor air handling units, packaged rooftop units, air-cooled condensing units, return fans, freeze-protection pumps, associated accessories, and all related materials indicated for replacement. Furnish and install new replacement equipment complete with all accessories, controls interfaces, and appurtenances as specified in the Contract Documents. 2. Structural Supports and Equipment Bases: Provide all supplemental steel, framing modifications, housekeeping pads, roof curbs, curb adapters, vibration isolation, structural reinforcing, and other support systems required for proper installation and long-term support of new equipment and associated materials. 3. Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls Tie-Ins: Provide all required demolition, modification, reconnection, extension, and balancing of ductwork, piping, insulation, electrical feeders, disconnects, controls wiring, BAS integration, roof penetrations, condensate piping, and associated systems necessary to place the n ew equipment into full operation. This project is for AHU / RTU replacements at the Mercer High School.
