The City of Milton is requesting sealed bids for the removal of the existing generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS) at Milton Fire Station 43 and the installation of a new fixed industrial generator system. All work shall comply with applicable local, state, and national building and electrical codes, as well as all relevant generator manufacturer requirements, codes, and standards. Contractor shall ensure the system is properly installed, tested, and fully operational upon project completion. All qualified bids will receive consideration without regard to age, handicap, religion, creed or belief, political affiliation, race, color, sex, or national origin. Location- Milton Fire Station 43 750 Hickory Flat Rd. Milton, GA 30004 Questions must also be submitted online in the same manner listed above for bids. Deadline for questions is May 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Official answers to questions and potential changes to the ITB (Addendums) will be posted at the same web locations as the ITB on or about May 7, 2026. Each bid must be accompanied with a BID BOND (bond only: certified checks or other forms are not acceptable) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable to the City of Milton. The Successful Bidder shall be required to furnish PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BONDS for the faithful performance on the contract and a bond to secure payment of all claims for materials furnished and/or labor performed in performance of the project, both in amounts equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the base bid price. The Successful Bidder shall also be required to furnish a MAINTENANCE BOND, in the amount of one-third (1/3) of the contract price, The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Milton.
