The work consists of supplying Camfil Farr Hi-Flo ES MERV and Durafil ES air filters on an as needed basis, including a variety of specified sizes and types, primarily for the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and potentially other venues owned or managed by Events DC. Products must meet or exceed provided performance specifications, including MERV ratings, construction requirements, and energy efficiency benchmarks. Additional goods and related work may be required upon request, with itemized cost and delivery time to be quoted as needed. The contractor is responsible for quarterly service during the first year to analyze pressure drop and supply data sheets to optimize filter change frequency, as well as quarterly particulate count readings from selected AHUs to verify air quality improvement. Visual training for maintenance staff must be provided in the initial months. The standard manufacturer’s warranty must be supplied, and any required repairs during the warranty term must be completed at no cost. Alternate products must be submitted with technical documentation for approval if used in lieu of those specified. Bidders must have at least three years’ experience providing Camfil Farr Hi-Flo filters, hold all necessary licenses, and be bonded to do business in DC. Bids must include pricing for both the base year and all option years, and all associated delivery, overhead, and administration costs. Submission is electronic and must include forms and supporting documentation as specified in the instructions. Only bids from DSLBD-certified business enterprises are eligible.
