The project includes providing all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary for the construction of a new Central Fire Station for the City of Ville Platte. Work includes building construction, site preparation, demolition, grading, concrete paving, sidewalks, parking, aggregate drives, utility installation, water service, sewer service, gas service, generator pad, signage, and all related appurtenant work necessary for a complete project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Additive alternates include a vintage fire truck display building, grass pavers, and a covered parking structure. The bidder is responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses, bonds, insurance, and other applicable items in accordance with the plans and specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of the total bid value. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond. Bidders must have an active DUNS number. The contractor shall begin mobilization and procurement of materials within ten working days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bid proposals should include all required attachments and certifications, and all work must comply with Executive Order No. 11246 Equal Employment Opportunity. The license number must be shown on the bid envelope for applicable trades and bid amounts as specified.
