Union County, North Carolina is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Civil Engineering Services for various projects on an 'as needed' basis. Civil engineering services performed under this contract must be provided by or under the responsible charge of a professional licensed in the State of North Carolina. Firms must identify the North Carolina licensed professional responsible for the work performed under the contract, including their name, discipline, and license number within the Statement of Qualifications. This is a Request for Qualifications; responding firms are not required to submit price information or work product with their submittal packages, and compliance with N.C.G.S. 143-64.31 is required. Union County encourages good faith outreach to Minority Businesses (HUB Certified) and Small Businesses. Offerors are required to comply with the non-collusion requirements set forth in the Solicitation Documents. All submittals must be received electronically by the Union County Procurement Department by the specified deadline, and paper submissions will not be accepted. The SOQ must be submitted as one complete document, signed by a person authorized to bind the proposing company. Offerors must ensure all addenda are obtained before submitting their SOQ. Union County reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, waive technicalities, award to multiple vendors, and cancel the solicitation. There is no obligation for Union County to reimburse offerors for any expenses incurred in preparing a response.
