Site work for a water / sewer project in Cary, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing materials, labor, and equipment for the construction of the Upper Brier Creek Interceptor Sewer Rehabilitation Project, Project No. SW-03500-17. Approximate quantities involved: clean/televise and install CIPP liner in 103 feet of 16" sewer and 3,475 feet of 36" sewer; install 201 VF of cementitious mortar in manholes; remove and replace 77 feet of 15" sewer; various manhole and sewer repairs, bypass pumping of wastewater; and other related sewer rehabilitation work. Each proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, using blank forms provided in the Project Manual, and plainly marked with the project name and number. The envelope must also display the Bidder's name, address, North Carolina contractor license number, and contact information. Each proposal must include a Bid Bond or deposit of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, executed by a corporate surety licensed in North Carolina or as a cashier's or certified check. Bids must include a non-collusive affidavit, and contractors must comply, and ensure that their subcontractors comply, with Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the North Carolina General Statutes, "Verification of Work Authorization." A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the Town of Cary and licensed in North Carolina, will be required. The Town of Cary reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, and rely only on written Addenda for contract interpretations. Email questions may be sent to mlambert@chasolutions.com. Replies will be issued by Addenda, mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five business days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
