Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in San Francisco, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Geary Boulevard Improvement Project is a public transit and street safety improvement initiative led by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency along Geary Boulevard between Stanyan Street and 34th Avenue in San Francisco. The project builds on the earlier Geary Rapid Project and includes dedicated bus lanes, bus stop relocations and removals, pedestrian bulb-outs, bus bulb sidewalk extensions, upgraded traffic signals, roadway striping changes, roadway repaving, new trees, and decorative sidewalk art. Quick-Build transit and safety treatments were implemented in Fall 2023, while remaining permanent improvements will be constructed in coordination with extensive sewer and water utility upgrades by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. The total estimated project cost is approximately $48 million, with construction of the remaining elements planned toward the end of the multi-year utility work.
