Description

The Town of Wayland invites sealed bids from qualified vendors to supply bituminous concrete for pick up at the bidder’s location by Town employees using Town vehicles and equipment. Additionally, the bidder will accept unprocessed recycled asphalt product (RAP) at the bidder’s location. All bids and the awarding of any contract are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Ch. 30B, as amended. Winning bidders are required to furnish a payment bond worth 50% of the value of the total bid. The estimated annual value of this contract is $100,000, with an approximate three-year total value of $300,000. The Town is an Equal Opportunity Employer and purchaser and encourages MBE/WBE/DBE participation in response to the bid process. All IFB documents will be available by downloading them at www.wayland.ma.us/bids. Bids must be submitted either via mail or in person to Kelsi Power-Spirlet, Assistant Town Manager, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778 before April 21, 2026 at 1:00PM ET. The Town of Wayland reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Deadline for Questions Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Bidders are requested to immediately and thoroughly review the IFB and specifications and promptly notify the Town of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or error which they may discover.
