The project involves the Double Chip sealing of 5,280 feet of Engoe Road from Viater Road toward Brevak Road. Work includes preparing the road for double sealing, including bar sealing cracked areas, double sealing the 22-foot wide pavement, and all required traffic control and incidental items necessary to complete the work. All procedures, work, and materials must conform to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, 2025 edition. Engineer certification in accordance with Wisconsin DOT Local Road Improvement Program requirements is required, including a ten-year certification if the project cost exceeds $65,000. Certification of insurance from the successful bidder is required before project commencement. The project must be completed by September 30, 2026, with a late penalty of $750 per day starting October 1, 2026. The Town of Washburn reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereof, waive any information in the bidding process, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the Town.
