The City of Pittsfield is seeking bids for the installation of three outdoor tornado warning sirens. The project consists of two separate bids. Bid No. 1 is for the installation of one tornado warning siren at the downtown water tower in the 100 block of West Adams Street, replacing a previously installed siren. Bid No. 2 is for the installation of two new tornado warning sirens: one at the water tower in the 1300 block of West Washington Street (behind Pike Co. Water Dist. office), and one at the ball diamond at Lake Pittsfield, to increase coverage. Bids shall include the total installation price, covering all equipment, electrical work, supplies, labor, poles, and pole installation. Bids must include a coverage map, equipment specifications, warranty information, a project timeline, and proof of insurance. Bidders shall include all equipment specifications and warranty information with their bid. Bidders shall also provide a project timeline indicating when the work could start and be completed once awarded. Proof of insurance shall be provided with the bid.
