The current dual-fuel (oil-electric) heating system will be replaced by a dual-fuel natural gas and electric system. The boiler room refurbishment project also includes work to dismantle an external fuel oil tank, and the addition of doors, partitions, a concrete slab and painting. Delivery schedule The proposed schedule is set out in the mechanical and electrical specifications. Most of the work will need to be carried out during the summer period, and some may be completed by October 2026.
